Beytulhikme An International Journal of Philosophy (BIJP) publishes research papers in all areas of classical and contemporary philosophy. Special emphasis is placed on the exchange of ideas among the philosophers with different theoretical backgrounds, and on interdisciplinary research to strengthen the relationship between humanities and natural sciences. Also, Beytulhikme aims to combine East and West around wisdom. The name of the journal which means “the house of wisdom” in English underlines the connection between theoretical and practical wisdom. Thus, Beytulhikme encourages scholars to make a connection between Eastern and Western philosophical traditions.

The Editors of this journal enforce a rigorous peer-review process together with strict ethical policies and standards to contribute to the field of scholarly publication by publishing high-quality scientific works. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, image manipulation, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. The Editors of BIJP take such publishing ethics issues very seriously and are trained to deal with such cases with a zero-tolerance policy. To verify the originality of the content submitted to the journal, we use CrossCheck (powered by iThenticate) to check submissions against previous publications.
