In today's world, where speciesist, racist and sexist discourses and forms developed by human’s relation of domination with himself and the other in order to reinforce his central position, non-human animals are reduced to passive tools and negative practices and behaviors towards them are normalized, the necessity of thinking about the coexistence of humans and non-humans through different relations of agency is imposes itself increasingly day to day. This study is an attempt to think about the possibility that Deleuze and Guattari's theory of becoming and the central concept of this theory, becoming-animal, carry towards the solution of animal problems, against the anthropocentric way of thinking. In this essay, I would like to discuss Deleuze's theory of becoming together with an ethologist, a musician and a feminist theorist. In this study, I will first elaborate Uexküll's ethology, which has had significant effects on the development of this theory with its exploratory observations on animals, then the concept of becoming-animal and Messianen's bird songs as an example of becoming-animal, and finally Braidotti's posthuman life as zoe and ethical ideal, inspired by Deleuze and Guattari’s theory and aimed at the possibility of other kinds of relationships and life forms that humans and animals can establish.
