In the new Turkish literature, philosophy often appears indirectly in literary works. From the beginning of the twentieth century, with the official proclamation of Tanzimat, the traces of philosophical thoughts in literary genres have become more obvious with the modernization and the increase of Western influence in Turkish literature. In the post-World War I period, acquaintance and interaction with Western philosophy increased in Turkish literature. Especially the writers of the Republican period frequently incorporated themes and concepts derived from Western philosophy into their literary works. Today, philosophical themes and ideas continue to be addressed in contemporary Turkish literature. This study aims to make a philosophical analysis of Bâki Ayhan T.'s Museum of Life and Imagination, one of the contemporary poets who utilize many disciplines from music to painting, sociology to psychology, history to literature and philosophy in his poems. Bâki Ayhan T.'s work, which includes existential inquiries of human beings, will be analyzed in terms of the themes of time and impermanence, melancholy and sadness, as well as images and metaphors. By analyzing these thematic elements, the study aims to reveal the philosophical foundations hidden in Bâki Ayhan T.'s poetic expressions and to shed light on the interaction between literature and philosophy in contemporary Turkish literary discourse.
