Comparison of the Approaches of Fleck, Foucault and Laura on the Influence of Medical Knowledge on the Development of Modern Science
The paper raises the issue of how medical knowledge and its historical evolution have affected the development of scientific theory. The conducted analysis of methodological programs demonstrates a close relationship between cognitive problems and the historical and social context in which they emerge and are addressed. The fact that this connection is the most pronounced in works on medical issues suggests that it was the research of medical nature that led the theory of science in the second half of the 20th century to increasingly consider the historical and cultural context of scientific research in addition to epistemological issues.
