Thematic Analysis of Turkish Books on General Philosophy of Science

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Turkish original and translation books on General Philosophy of Science and to represent the circumstance of the themes of General Philosophy of Science in the related books. The research has been designed by the case study included in qualitative research methods. Data have been collected via 23 books, which are 13 original and 10 translation books by making document analysis. The data analysis has been carried out by the MAXQDA computer program in the context of thematic analysis and a descriptive study has been presented. Findings have been shown in tables indicative frequency, percentage and intensities. According to the basic finding, it has been seen that the books mostly focused on General Philosophy of Science through Philosophers of Science.
