Beytulhikme An International Journal of Philosophy is a peer-reviewed, hybrid open-access academic journal, and is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December. The official languages of the journal are Turkish and English. Beytulhikme publishes research papers in all areas of classical and contemporary philosophy. Special emphasis is placed on the exchange of ideas among the philosophers with different theoretical backgrounds, and on interdisciplinary research to strengthen the relationship between humanities and natural sciences. Also, Beytulhikme aims to combine East and West around wisdom. The name of the journal which means “the house of wisdom” in English underlines the connection between theoretical and practical wisdom. Thus, Beytulhikme encourages scholars to make a connection between Eastern and Western philosophical traditions.
