Abstract
Sokrates, Nietzsche’nin felsefi külliyatında her zaman belirleyici ve önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Zira Nietzsche’ye göre Batı felsefesi adını verdiğimiz organizasyon esasen Sokratik bir proje olarak karşımıza çıkar. İşte bu sebeple Nietzsche’ye göre, Sokrates’in varlığında cisimleşen bir etkinlik olarak Batı felsefesinin ve metafiziğinin gerçek niyeti, Sokrates’e ve onun kişiliğine ilişkin bir tartışma yürütmeden ortaya çıkarılamaz. Bu bağlamda mevcut çalışma; sırasıyla Tragedya’nin Doğuşu’nda, Şen Bilim‘de ve Putların Alacakaranlığı’nda Nietzsche’nin resmettiği Sokratik tipin gelişimini takip etmeye çalışır. Zira bu üç eser, karşılıklı olarak bir soru-cevap diyaloğu meydana getirmek suretiyle adeta organik bir bütünlük sergiler ve her aşamada daha da derinleşen bir Sokrates portresi sunar.

Abstract
Socrates has always had a decisive and important place in Nietzsche's philosophical corpus. Because for Nietzsche, the organization which we call Western philosophy is basically a Socratic project. That is why, according to Nietzsche, the true intention of Western philosophy and metaphysics as an activity embodied in Socrates, cannot be revealed without conducting a discussion about Socrates and his personality. In this context, the present study tries to follow the development of the Socratic type depicted by Nietzsche in The Birth of Tragedy, The Gay Science and Twilight of Idols, respectively. Because these three works exhibit an organic unity by forming a mutual question-answer dialogue and presenting a portrait of Socrates which is getting deeper at every phase.
