Abstract
Çalışmamızın temelinde olan söz edimleri kuramı bir şey söylemenin bir şey yapmak olduğu tezinden hareket eder. Söz edimi kavramında edim eyleme, söz ise dile gönderme yapmakta olup genel bir tanımla söz edimi, gerçekleştirilmesi için dile gereksinim duyulan eylemleri gerçekleştirmeye yarayan, bir şey söylemenin belli koşullar sağlandığında bir şey yapmayı içermesi olarak ifade edilebilir. Bu noktada da anlatılmak istenen günde¬lik konuşmalarımızda, kendisiyle bir bildirimde bulunmadığımız; ancak bir edimde bulunduğumuz, söz verdiğimiz, ricada bulunduğumuz vb., bir çok cümlenin hiç de anlamsız olmadığının gösterilmesidir. Böylece, anlam yalnızca basit bir doğruluk-yanlışlık karşıtlığına indirgenmemiş olmaktadır. Bu çalışma konuya yönelik literatür taramasıyla, birincil ve ikincil kaynaklardan yararlanılarak yapılmıştır.<

Abstract
The theory of speech acts that is the basis of our study moves from the premise that saying something is do something. In order that performance refers to the action and speech raefers to the language in the speech acts concept, with a general define speech acts can be expressed as a structure which contains acts that need language for having been came true, and when certain conditions are provided saying something means to do something. At this point, in our every day speech it is wanted to be showed that a lot of sentences which we do not have any statement but have performance, give promise, ask a favour etc are not meaningless at all. This study, with literature review for this issue has been making use of primary and secondary sources<
